23rd OCA general assembly meeting was promoted with attendance of 44 Asian Countries in Doha QATAR on the June 28th to July 1st. For the first time in the history of international kickboxing, the AFK federation as the only acceptable reference of national Olympic Committees (NCOs) has been introduced in sports committee meeting Asian general assembly (OCA). Mr. Mohammad Ghasem Manouchehri, the president of Asian Federation of Kickboxing (AFK) attended at meeting of OCA sports committee on June 28th 2004 and in the meantime of introducing kickboxing sports and AFK federation, he also asked for the attending the kickboxing sports at the Asian Olympic Games and Asian Indoor Games. Mr.Wei Jizhong ,chairman of OCA sports committee received all the AFK documents from Mr. Manouchehri and then after the confirming this sports by the OCA, he asked all the attendants to cast their votes to the OCA sports committee. Also Dr.Muwaffak Fawaz from NOC Jordan has become responsible for the supervision of the presentation of kickboxing sport in OCA Olympic Indoor Games. Mr.Manochehri, the president of AFK, and Mr.Bahram Afsharzadeh, the general secretary of NOC of Iran, and Chairman, OCA Information & Statistics Committee officially presented the joint applicant of kickboxing sport to the Asian Olympic Games. Mr.Bahram Afsharzadeh one of the main members of the final supervising executive boards of and transferring reports presented defenses about kickboxing sports to the OCA on June, 30th , 2004. Mr.Hossein Al Mossalam, Technical Director, OCA from Kuwaiti, Mr.Bahram Afsharzadeh chairman OCA information &statistics committee from Iran and Dr, Muwaffak Fawaz the member of OCA sports committee from Jordan, Mr.Wei Jizhong chairman of sports committee from China, and all members of sports committee OCA from Kazakhstan, Yaman, Qatar, Syria, Thailand, Philippine, Bhutan, Al-Suidia, Cambodia…have supported kickboxing sports in order to enter to the OCA.
