Meeting Calendar

Third general assembly of Asian Federation of Kickboxing ( AFK ) was held in the second week of January 2005 in Arian hotel of Hamedan in a period of 3days.Multy Sport Company was the host of holding these meetings, which were founded in the way of achieving high goals of the only Asian federation of kickboxing ( AFK ). The programs in its agenda are included as follow:

1: Introducing the new arm and logo of Asian Federation of Kickboxing (AFK) and its Internet website with authorization on behalf of Iran government

2: Asian championships 2005, 2006 of AFK

3: Introducing the new representatives of AFK

2:The place and the time of Asian championship 2005, 2006

In the second week of New Year 2005 and during several meetings, which were held in Arian hotel of Hamedan it was decided that:

Asian championship of Asian Federation of Kickboxing (AFK) should be held in the last week of June- first half of July 2005.This event should have been planned in an Asian country, which had asked for holding it in general assemblies of this federation from two years ago, and then after getting authorization it will be possible to hold it.

It was decided that Asian championship 2005 should be held in the last week of June in two full contact and low kick styles. The above championships will be held in two men and juniors parts.

Iran and Uzbekistan are the main candidates of holding Asian championship 2005 and Qatar, Uzbekistan and Iran are the main candidates of holding Asian championship 2006.

It was decided that all candidates should send the holding conditions during less than 10 days after general assembly of 7 th –9 th January 2005 and make the final decision.

3: Introducing the new representatives

In the second week of New Year 2005 and during several meetings which were held in AFK center, in Hamedan, it was decided that:

Asian Federation of Kickboxing (AFK) representatives should be divided in two groups, which all of them have a special character called national AFK representative of that country:

1) Governmental representatives

2) Non-Governmental representatives

1) Governmental representatives should be introduced to AFK and the office of holding AFK event in all Asian kickboxing events by means of their government. And their national teams should be determined after national championship and all of them will own similar rights. And in order to participate in Asian championship annually their national teams should have the introduction letter from their national Olympic committee. According to the available records and documents, up to now the member countries are included as follows:

2) Non-governmental representatives should move towards achieving high goals of AFK in their country. And they should do their best in order to record AFK in their country and their government. They can participate under the regulations of AFK.And AFK representative in that country is responsible for introducing select team of their countries. According to the available records and documents the member countries are included as follows:

2-INDIA

3-QATAR

4-GEORGIA

Introducing the new arm and logo of AFK and Internet website of Iran government

In the second week of New Year 2005 and during several meetings which was held at Asian Federation of Kickboxing (AFK) center in Arian hotel of Hamedan , it was decided that; in reference to the decree no. 16.83.6.76.38 of National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Iran, arm and logo of Asian Federation of Kickboxing (AFK) would be better to change. It is so, because the prior planners used five-circle logo with the name of Olympic.

The advertising committee manager presented the new arm and logo of AFK federation to the meeting and the attendants signed it after confirmation.

And also AFK federation Internet website was introduced and the planner introduced the AFK website address with getting authorization from National federation of Iran:

www.afk-gov.org

And it was decided that; in addition to the international communication manager of AFK federation, president and general secretary of AFK would be allowed to use official email-addresses under the space of AFK website.
